I had a great time at the gathering conference yesterday and was happy to be able to talk briefly about the project I work on, Linked Jazz. We’ve definitely been quite busy this summer with team members presenting in locations from Montreal, to Lincoln Nebraska, to New Orleans, and back to NYC. We’re refining the crowd-sourcing interface and hope to have the new version available soon. In the meantime, any one who uses it is encouraged to leave feedback via the survey or direct comments.

It was also great to hear about Anna’s project, really like the idea of mapping performances. I tried something similar, on a MUCH smaller scale/timeframe, for a timeline project last spring. Can’t wait to see/hear more. Was also hoping to hear about some of the other music DH projects that are going on in NYC.

Hey Sean,

Thanks for posting in the Linked Jazz project. I was very interested to see a demo of that project last year, and look forward to its continuing development. So sorry not to have been able to attend this meeting, but hope to meet you at future events!

And, please invite any other people working on music projects to join this group – we’re hoping that we can create a music-centered forum for DH work of all kinds!
