      Anyone who is maintaining a site on Omeka.net should have received an email about this (PLEASE let me know!), but just to double-emphasize it:

      On the weekend of Oct 11-13, Omeka.net will be receiving its long-awaited upgrade to the latest version of Omeka, 2.2.2. The email contains the details about steps to take in preparation — again, let me know if you maintain a site and didn’t get the email.

      The improvements will bring lots of new features and possibility that we hope will address many desires we’ve heard from users.

      Ah! Excellent! Your update came just as I was typing a reply that the process of sending out the 17,000+ emails was still running, so it was likely just waiting for it’s place in the queue!
