Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a resource for fashion history research that I’ve been building with my art history students at FIT for the past two years. We just launched a little over a week ago and are still very much in early days, but I hope you’ll find the site exciting even so. In the briefest terms we aim to be:
“A hub for fashion research with hundreds of essays on specific artworks, garments and films, the Fashion History Timeline equips students and researchers with essential facts, vocabulary, models of analysis, and links to digitized primary & secondary sources.”
You can find the site at fashionhistory.fitnyc.edu
You can read our welcome blog post for more information:

We are looking for contributors/editors, so if you have expertise you’d be willing to share, please do be in touch! (https://fashionhistory.fitnyc.edu/how-to-contribute/)
All the best,
Justine De Young
