Dear NYCDHers,
The Center for Digital Research and Scholarship at Columbia Libraries/Information Services have just opened our internship application period for the upcoming Fall 2014 semester. We’d be grateful if you could pass on the below announcement to library school students you know or work with!
We at the Center for Digital Research and Scholarship are looking for library school students passionate about the role of libraries in addressing the changing environment in which scholarship and research are produced. We’re searching for people motivated to further their education and skills in areas of:
Emerging digital publishing practices
Research data management
Institutional repositories
Scholarly communication
Digital A/V creation and archiving
For consideration, candidates should e-mail their resume and cover letter to: anurnberger@columbia.edu by Friday, August 8, 2014. They should identify a primary (and, if they wish, a secondary) focus area in their letter, and explain why that area is of particular interest to them. For more details of the internship and application, visit bit.ly/CDRSFall2014Internships.
