      Hi there students,

The Center for Digital Research and Scholarship at Columbia Libraries/Information Services have just opened our internship application period for the upcoming Fall 2014 semester. If you’re a library student, please do apply – or pass this announcement onto your library school friends.

We’re looking for library school students passionate about the role of libraries in addressing the changing environment in which scholarship and research are produced. We’re searching for people motivated to further their education and skills in areas of:

      Emerging digital publishing practices
      Research data management
      Institutional repositories
      Scholarly communication
      Digital A/V creation and archiving

For consideration, candidates should e-mail their resume and cover letter to: anurnberger@columbia.edu by Friday, August 8, 2014. They should identify a primary (and, if they wish, a secondary) focus area in their letter, and explain why that area is of particular interest to them. For more details of the internship and application, visit bit.ly/CDRSFall2014Internships.

      Thanks all,
      Leyla
