| Bio | Mary McAleer Balkun is Professor of English and Founding Director of the Center for Faculty Development at Seton Hall University. She co-chairs the university’s Digital Humanities Committee and the New Jersey Digital Humanities Consortium. A scholar of early American literature, she is the author of The American Counterfeit: Authenticity and Identity in American Literature and Culture ((U of Alabama P, 2006), co-editor with Marta Deyrup of Global and Transformative Digital Humanities: Projects, Case Studies, and Challenges (Routledge, 2020). |
