| Bio | Katharine Chandler is a dev, rare books librarian, curator, and cataloger with particular interests in Burgundian/Flemish manuscript culture of the 15th century; books written and published during the Reformation and Counter Reformation in Europe; books written and made by religious immigrants to the mid-Atlantic; and the dissemination of information during protest movements in the 20th and 21st centuries in the United States. Having worked in both public-facing and technical services positions, as well as in a public library, she is interested not only in how special collections can best meet the needs of scholars and students but also reach the general public. |
