This presentation will provide an overview of the Linked Jazz project with a focus on its development phases, from the creation of linked data from textual materials to the building of applications for visualizing the data as social networks. Linked jazz will serve as a case study to share the lessons learned in experimenting with Linked Open Data technology for digital cultural resources and ultimately contribute to build best practices for the LODLAM (Linked Open Data for Libraries, Archives and Museums) community.
