Math and statistics bring about fear and apprehension in many humanities and social science students, yet these skills are often required for research and effective evidence-based practice. This workshop aims to introduce humanities students to basic statistical concepts, various types of qualitative data, and methods of data analysis. The workshop will be taught by a humanities major turned social scientist and will employ statistical methods while using illustrations and exercises from the humanities.
