As humanists, a good portion of the work we do involves text. Whether it’s writing an paper, editing an article, or putting together a website, we spend significant amounts of time moving words around. This workshop will teach you how to write and edit text in the most efficient way possible, using a modal text editor called Vim. Not only will these skills greatly increase your editing efficiency, but you will also be able to apply the techniques of modal editing to working with files and even web pages.
