- Put hosting institution somewhere in the event title to make the calendar easier to scan.
- Use a link to event info in the description rather than a full description if link available. If the original event is only advertised in paper, write a short summary. Be clear about the location.
- Keep event titles brief but make them descriptive. If the event is a talk, list the author and the short title of the talk. If the event involves a particular technology, list the technology.
