      Media Res, a series of talks on digital humanities (DH) projects in NYC, is looking for graduate student presenters to give lightning talks on in-progress DH work for Media Res #2. Building on the success of its inaugural event at the CUNY Graduate Center, Media Res #2, at NYU’s Bobst Library on Tuesday, November 17th at 5 pm, will showcase a range of graduate student DH work and foster community across NYC universities. Graduate students at all levels and disciplines are invited to propose a five minute talk about their DH project. Talks may focus on theoretical questions driving their DH project, challenges involved in project development, or how others might utilize similar tools and methods. Interested participants should email a 250 word abstract of their talk to aaronplasek@gmail.com by November 7th. Anyone interested in the NYC Digital Humanities community is encouraged to register at NYCDH.org and sign up for the Announcement group.
