Celebrating the publication of Debates in the Digital Humanities 2019 in print and on the open-access Manifold platform, this event brings together a number of contributors to discuss their work, including: Marisa Parham (Amherst College) on “Sample | Signal | Strobe: Haunting, Social Media, and Black Digitality”; Laura Mandell (Texas A&M University) on “Gender and Cultural Analytics: Finding or Making Stereotypes?”; Radhika Gajjala (Bowling Green State University) on “Caring Archives of Subalternity?”; Katie Rawson (University of Pennsylvania) on “Against Cleaning”; Kevin Ferguson (Queens College and CUNY Graduate Center) on “Volumetric Cinema”; and Lauren F. Klein (Emory University) and Matthew K. Gold (CUNY Graduate Center) on “A DH That Matters.” Brief presentations by each speaker will be followed by a roundtable and Q&A.
