Funded M.A. in Digital Humanities at UConn

      Colleagues,

      We just received word that we will have funding for one M.A. student in Digital Humanities here in the UConn Department of Digital Media and Design starting in Fall 2016. The studentship will provide full tuition, health benefits, and a half-time graduate research assistant for two years to a qualified student. This could be a great way for someone working, for instance, in a library or as a public historian, to move into digital practice, or for a recent humanities undergraduate, who is interested in digital humanities but not sure about pursing a Ph.D., to test the waters without digging her/himself into too much debt.

      Funded masters degrees are few and far between these days, and we are very grateful to have one to advertise to the community. Please send any interested candidates directly to me at tom.scheinfeldt@uconn.edu
