      More Info (Flyer Attached)
Mary Flanagan is an artist, scientist, educator and designer whose works have included everything from game-inspired art to commercial games that shift people’s thinking about biases and stereotypes.

In 2003, Flanagan established the game research laboratory Tiltfactor to invent “humanist” games and take on social issues through gaming. She is the creator of “The Adventures of Josie True,” the first web-based adventure game for girls. A scholar and creator of socially conscious games, Flanagan has won international acclaim for her contributions to social justice design.
