      NYC-DH Last minute announcement: Miguel Ripoll: “Modular application development for DH projects: towards and extensible collaborative model..” This Friday, 1:00pm-3:00pm at the Studio@Butler.

      In this workshop, renowned web designer Miguel Ripoll—who built, among other things, the new LAIC Department website— will talk about strategies and techniques to turn WordPress into a usable editorial platform avoiding bloat-ware and facilitating the creation and dissemination of complex academic data in a multi-author environment.

      This workshop follows on the heels of his talk “Reading, Writing, and Other Amusing Anachronisms: The Future of the Humanities in the Digital Age” | Thursday April 9 | 6:00 – 8:00 pm | Casa Hispánica (poster attached).
