      NewYorkScapes is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2019 Culture Mapping symposium! Join us for a two-day event exploring culture, place, and digital methods through the theme of “Migrations.” View the full program and register now!

      Featuring:

      workshops on research methodologies, pedagogy, and data

      participatory performances and art installations

      short film screenings

      panels showcasing scholarship on themes including virtual diasporas, digital history and archives, urbanization and gentrification, and countermappings

      and a keynote delivered by Dr. Elizabeth Rodrigues, Humanities and Digital Scholarship Librarian & Assistant Faculty at Grinnell College

      Due to space limitations, registration is strongly recommended. As always, there is no cost to attend. Complete the registration form to RSVP.
