      Dear all,

      Hope you had a nice summer. We’re kickstarting things at the Studio@Butler for the Fall tomorrow with a hackathon for our Rikers Bot project.

      Come build the Twitter RikersBot v.1 with us. The bot will tweet the stories composed by young people of Rikers prison and Columbia following the workshops of July 2015. The Bot will incorporate historical notes from NY region newspapers, music and other aspects of cultural and social areas of interest. If you’re interested in the intersection of digital humanities and social justice, this hackathon is for you.
