Dear NYCDH Members,
My name is Ewa Machotka and I’m an Associate Professor in Japanese Language and Culture at the Stockholm University. I specialize in art history and visual culture and I am also interested in the applications of digital technologies to the study of cultural artifacts and historical processes. And I’m writing to you today in relation to the Workshop “Data Science for Digital Art History: Tackling Big Data Challenges, Algorithms, and Systems” I’m co-organizing at the Conference of Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining 2018 in London, UK on 20th of August 2018, which may be of interest to the scholars involved in your Network.
For more information about the Workshop please refer to http://dsdah2018.blogs.dsv.su.se .
I hope that you and your colleagues will find the event interesting and consider presenting their latest research at the Workshop. I would also appreciate if you could spread the good word about DSDAH 2018. Posting the attached Call for Papers on your website and forwarding it to your colleagues and students would be very helpful.
Best regards,
Ewa
