      Clifford Anderson, Director for Scholarly Communications at Vanderbilt, has asked me to forward the following announcement about an NEH supported Institute for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities hosted at Vanderbilt this summer.

      “We’ll be hosting an XQuery Summer Institute for two weeks during June 2014. The Institute is aimed at people who have learned to markup texts in XML but do not yet know how to query them computationally. Here is the website for information about the Institute and how to apply: http://xqueryinstitute.org.

      I’d be very grateful if you would publicize this Institute to anyone who might be interested in learning more about XML, TEI, XQuery, and digital text analysis.”
